We have purchased several 14 piece sets and use them in the industrial setting and also change overhead air tools several times a day. After about a month we noticed that they started to lose air due to wear on the male clutch. If you look at them, they are made of aluminum and not steel. They'll probably be fine for a hobbyist who doesn't use a lot of air, but when you're changing tools at your airline, you often have to expect them to wear out quickly and leak air. I won't buy them again.

Incredibly poor fit from the quick connector side, it rattles and leaks constantly. Why? They're a few mm smaller for a 1/4" quick connect. They fit the NPT side fairly well if you remember to use tape or some other sealant (like you would with any air or hose fitting ).Objecting to their return; I can get them working with extra cover for now and wonder how much hassle it would be to just get them back. The fittings leaked air as soon as my compressor blew a little over 40psi (far from their 300 rated maximum) and thought it was ok maybe were the tolerances just cater to bad luck on both sides from different manufacturers. Used a hose with a better fitting connector so the only active quick disconnect came from the ColorConnex kit itself and had the same issue with their own fittings (tried all suitable kits). Buy another air hose fitting/connector kit - not this one. The ColorConnex plug and connector kit (14pcs) shipped in January 2020 does not match the picture or description in the Revain listing. As other reviewers have pointed out, they are NOT red as pictured, more of a pink color and NOT industrial grade aluminum.
