As previously mentioned, the front strap is quite short and there are ridges along the inside edges of the straps which make them quite uncomfortable and can easily cause blisters depending on foot shape. Too bad the sole and insole are among the best. I also have a pair of Columbia Ridgeway sandals that I bought at the Columbia Outlet Store. Same sole and shell, different straps. They were extremely comfortable from day one, with much better padding around the straps and more heel cushioning. Straps of the expected length. highlighted.
