The price is good and has bumps on the inside of the lid. It seems I remember reading that the bumps circulate the fluids to make the meat tender. I like to brown my meat and onion in this and add wine and later my vegetables--potatoes, mushrooms, carrots. Cook on top of the stove instead of the oven. Price is good and the red makes it look so flashy
- The nonstick coating makes it easy to clean this Dutch oven, cutting down on time spent scrubbing
- The pot may not be suitable for cooking delicate fish or seafood, as the nonstick coating could tear the flesh
