This product is terrible. As the owner of many chameleons, I have sporadically tried using them over the years and each time they just didn't fit. I'm still hoping that Zoomed will improve the durability of these things over time, to no avail. The last one I bought lasted 2 weeks. and the second in the box, just 24 hours. Not to mention I'm using the zoomed dome light. Reptile Owners: Stop wasting money on this product, I've had success with the "Philips 421438 PAR30S Dimmable EcoVantage Flood Light Lamp 53W" which you can get for about the same price here at Revain or Home Depot. These are outdoor/indoor fixtures so they are durable and designed to withstand the occasional dirt and/or moisture that is common when keeping animals; They last VERY long and produce a nice warm direct jet perfect for pet sunbathing. Don't waste your hard-earned money on them. As already mentioned, this is gambling. Some of these enlarged lights last months, others days/hours. You'll end up going through several of these before getting "lucky" with one that lasts as long as you want.
