Review on ASUS Swift Gaming Monitor PG32UQX: 4K, 144Hz, Anti-Glare, Webcam & Tilt Adjustment. by Kevin Hunter

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Stunning perfection and grace! The absence of dead pixels and the almost complete absence of the halo effect.

4K - 144Hz - HDR1400 - 12-bit colour. Mini LED. It had all the bells and whistles I could want in a gaming monitor at a hefty price tag. Connect the monitor to the 3080Ti card with the included DisplayPort cable, enable HDR in the Win11 operating system and you're ready to race. Setup went smoothly with no hiccups. HDR content on this monitor is AMAZING! Literally identical to OLED quality - I can't tell. The monitor was perfect. No dead pixels. The halo effect is literally non-existent when gaming, surfing the web, or performing daily tasks. Anyway, I had to "search" for it, and even then I couldn't tell if there was a halo effect at all. Assassin's Creed Odyssey (PC game) launched with HDR enabled. Wow! The scenery is stunning. The character's leather armor or pouch looked like real leather. Gilded weapons or golden statues looked like real gold! I've launched a few other AAA games and was convinced this keeper was here to stay until 8K became a thing. I personally can live without HDMI 2.1. Unlike my previous monitor (LG 27GL850) and most others, this one has an integrated Nvidia G-SYNC Ultimate processor. Maybe I was lucky, but I didn't hear any noise from the "fan" in the monitor from my usual sitting position. My brother and I both agreed it was literally a whisper. Based on other recent reviews (November 2021+) my experience with this monitor is similar. ASUS must have fixed quality control issues in their first batch. What I received was the perfect monitor. If you have money, look no further. This is a monitor to buy!
