I wasn't sure about this product so after receiving it I decided to run 4 tests and here are the results. Just to clarify: ME stands for Magic Eraser and S+W stands for Soap plus Water. the possibility of cleaning products, but as someone who doesn't want to use so many disposables, I'm hoping this brand considers creating a liquid form of what's on these pads. The pads fall apart fairly easily after a hard brush. Started with a 2.5" x 2.5" square Magic Eraser. Cut 1 unit in half with large scissors. Test 1. Pencil/Graphite Test. 3 cups of room temperature water] Cleaning: 5 m Wall: Marks are still visible but less bright Test 2 Whiteboard markers ● Me: (same unit as Test 1) Cleaning: 2 m 59 s left on clock . It took me about 2m and 41 minutes to clear this spot. Wall: Nearly perfect if I look closely as my nose is pressed against the surface I can see faint spots but it's pretty good. ● S+W: Scrub: every 5m away, still visible Test 3 Pen Before proceeding with Test 3, I refilled both bowls with water and replaced the magic easel with a new 2.5 x 2.5 inch piece . ● Me: Scrub: 3 m left; took 2 minutes Wall: perfectly clean ● B+W: scrub: 5m Wall: marks visible, slightly faded but not much test 4 colored pencil ● I: scrub: 4m 40s left Took 6 seconds Wall: spotless: 2 min left 55 sec. It took 2 minutes 45 seconds. Wall: flawless.
