I have eight cats. In particular, without the plugin, fights between two cats occur every other day. With the plugin, fights are reduced to weird low growls and hisses. I set it up for three 30 minute sessions a day. If the kittens usually get up when I get home, it's the middle of the evening. Times when they usually eat at the same place. Since then there have been fewer fights. I wouldn't wear it all the time, I think it would be a waste of time. But spending 1.5 hours a day alongside a humidifier and a ceiling fan to keep it airborne and dispersing really helps. It also helps with kittens that have health issues. I have two cats with chronic kidney failure and one of them also has cancer. Feliway helps when I need to give them medication and subcutaneous fluids. This helps them to be calmer than without. I recommend these plugs and buy them in bulk (6 for $60: 48ml Feliway refills, 6 refills). A few tips: use a timer, keep it at least 4 feet away from where he regularly eats or sleeps, keep it away from furniture, make sure it's not covered, check it once a week to make sure it doesn't dry out.
