While I bought these because they had 5 star reviews, we had serious issues with the backings staying on after piercing ears. No one seems to mention that the backings are too large for the super thin posts, they slip right off with the slightest catch on anything. These are not quality thick beginner post earrings, so I had to try other backings from numerous pairs of earrings here at home before we found ones that locked on better. We had lost the earring itself a few times and had to re-poke through a hole that newly formed and wasn’t healed. Painful but we remedied this after a few repeated incidents. Antibiotic ointment was a real lifesaver. The process of piercing with this product was simple but the thickness of post and backings are low quality. I found it hilarious that this kit came with useless clear plastic ear covers. We mostly goofed off with them! Also came with extra posts when extra backings were needed more!
