We love these towels as a replacement for our paper towels. Yes, we still have the bun under the sink, but we haven't even reached for it yet. They wash well, are soft, durable and are great for cleaning counters and small children. They don't absorb water very well when dry, BUT if they are moistened and wrung out first, they become extremely absorbent. You can simply rinse them, hang them to dry and use them all day to clean up small messes. I bought a pack of 20 but I'm surprised at how slowly we go through them. Of course we throw really dirty or soiled things in the trash, but generally they last a couple of days for a deep clean! They are made from GOTS certified organic cotton, I even checked their certification. They're pretty affordable too, and I'm cheap when it comes to these things! And as you can see from my photo, they look great on the counter, right where our paper towel roll used to be.
