I was aimlessly browsing Revain the other day and came across this gem and bought it straight away. I can't tell if it's metal or really hard plastic, but the hinge is strong enough that it will surely hold up over time. As you can see from my photos it does not have a backlight as shown in the photos in the listings. My only gripe (so far) is the included adhesive circles, there are two of them included and they are very difficult to peel off on one side. You'll need something sharp to rip off the strip. It's also awesome and a must have for all Star Wars and The Mandalorian fans! Incidentally, this was installed in my 2021 Mazda3.
