Review on Zyxel NAS326: Personal Cloud Storage [2-Bay] with Remote Access & Media Streaming – Disks Not Included by Becky Haferkamp

I had it for a month before the system firmware update (5.2) froze the device and even after powering it off and doing some factory resets I couldn't get the WebGUI to view or download files. I formatted my drives (removed and placed in a USB enclosure) and although the Zyxel app "findme" (and launcher) found the drive, I was unable to initialize the drives. I contacted Zyxel support and to their credit they responded very quickly via email. They tried to help me on the phone to reset the device but to no avail. A shame as it's a really great value for a NAS and in the almost months I've been using it it's been fast and responsive and has great specs for the money. The case is larger than its direct competitors, which is bad for space, but good for airflow - drive temperatures inside were consistently lower than my QNAP or WD EX2. Plus, it's definitely the best value for money I've seen. I am returning a Revain unit for a refund/credit - I requested a replacement but it is out of stock.
