Review on CHAMPKEY Tri-Turf Golf Hitting Mat - Ultimate Indoor and Outdoor Training Tool for Golfers by Johnny Chambers

I bought this mat with the net to exercise in my yard. The good things first: the rug looks great. I really liked the 3 different turf lengths that this mat offers. The mat did a great job of giving just enough at impact to mimic the authentic feel. For me, the mat didn't move when the ball was hit. The rubber was heavy enough to hold everything in place; even when using a hybrid. However, the benefits were far outweighed by the lack of durability. I wasn't expecting the world for a $40 product, but it wasn't even a session before the first sod cut started to peel off the backing. During my 30 p.m. workout, I was swinging balls in every orientation. It appears that the friction of the clubhead moving across the "roughness" has created enough tension to pull the turf off the rubber pad. I can try to fix the problem myself or contact the seller. In any case, this product did not live up to my expectations.
