I ordered this unit after it was recommended in a goat facebook group as I wanted to analyze my own poop. However, when it arrived I was dismayed to find that no instructions were included. A note in the box said that the instructions could be downloaded from their website after entering the code that I should have found on the box, but the code was not printed out and pasted on the box in the place indicated. I contacted customer service who sent me a link but I need a password to access the link which they didn't give me. You might think that getting a manual for a full-priced product is a matter of national security. The next time I tried customer service I found someone who gave me the password to access the link, but when I finally accessed the site I found that my model was not in the drop down list. Finally a third try at customer service and Daniel R. said he would email me the instructions. A few hours later he emailed me a PDF file. I set up the microscope but the instructions said to look through the binoculars and adjust until the two circles converge. Unfortunately I never saw 2 circles and nothing converged regardless of the settings. The main problem is that unlike binoculars where two eyepieces can be adjusted to fit your eyes, on this microscope the eyepieces are stationary and the only adjustment is to raise and lower them. Very unsatisfactory. I'm an adult with a normal face size and eye relief, but I can't look into these two eyepieces with both eyes at the same time, and their minimum settings don't change that. I contacted support again and the only thing they could offer was that I can return it. Absolutely no attempt to help me solve the problem or give me any hints what I could have done differently to make this work. Returns are a hassle and I'm sure the microscope is actually fine, but in the end I thought I'd just return it because when they're having such a hard time getting customer service I don't want to get stuck with them future if something goes wrong with him.
