    The only thing I don't like is that I find it difficult to use both eyes.

    5 stars because I've never owned a really high quality microscope and I don't know the difference. Here's what I can tell you about this product. The only thing I don't like is that I have a hard time seeing things with 2 eyes, it looks wonky, it's my fault, probably not the scopes. What I do as: 1. It moves smoothly and focuses, it has pretty good resolution. again, i've never had a 10k microscope, so maybe i don't know any better.2. I got the 5 megapixel camera for it from another site (halfโ€ฆ

    Like a Ph.D. As a microbiologist, I am impressed with the quality of this microscope. It has excellent resolution, almost as good as professional devices. I was hesitant to order at first because one of the reviews complained about the intensity of the LED light source. That's not the case, however, as the microscope has an intensity dial on the bottom of the unit, which the reviewer may not have noticed. The LED provides a very intensive illumination.     THIS MICROSCOPE IS THE REAL DEAL!

    My 8 year old son wants to be a marine biologist and got an aquarium for his birthday. We ditch meaningless toys and give him things to explore the world with. Given the choice between a telescope and a microscope, he wanted a microscope so he could see the microbes living in his aquarium. This was going to be my first microscope purchase and I wanted something that wasn't a toy but would serve him now and well into the distant future (read "high school").     Stay away from this microscope!

    I ordered this unit after it was recommended in a goat facebook group as I wanted to analyze my own poop. However, when it arrived I was dismayed to find that no instructions were included. A note in the box said that the instructions could be downloaded from their website after entering the code that I should have found on the box, but the code was not printed out and pasted on the box in the place indicated. I contacted customer service who sent me a link but I need a password to access theโ€ฆ
