If you're looking for a rough hand sewer that can last a while, this is the tool for the job. If you want a tool that makes precise and clean curves, then spend a little more and get a quality tool. All bolted connections were somewhat loose and required tightening prior to use, and the jaws did not align at the leading edge or ends, or close parallel to each other before final compression. The casting of the head is mediocre and my leading edge needed to be filed. I've relied on Wiss tools for decades, but the quality of this tool leaves a lot to be desired. I would have sent it back if I hadn't needed it for work the day it arrived.
