. I know they had great reviews so I ordered this set. I'm new to quilting and just collect tools and books (and fabrics). I've used other cutting rulers in the past and recently bought another brand with mesh. I really like having a grid. So I ordered these rulers but I wasn't crazy about them. The light lines are 1/4 inch thick and transparent, which is very convenient. I found the fine mesh lines too transparent and difficult to combine with my Olfa cutting mat. A friend gave me an extra omni-grid ruler that she had and I thought how much I like her. They fit perfectly on my cutting mat and are easy to align.
