This is a pretty good power supply if you just need to power something that would normally run off a car battery. It's pretty quiet and beautifully finished. The only complaint I can have is that the case really isn't designed for any type of mount. Now for the bad: The power supply generates an enormous amount of radio interference. So if you intend to use it to power a receiver or transceiver be prepared to be disappointed, especially when thinking of RF operation. From about 1MHz to about 50MHz you will see sharp harmonics generated by the power supply appearing again and again at about 35kHz intervals. Frequency of the power supply, but it doesn't really fix anything unless you want to constantly tweak that knob. However, this makes it very easy to track down the source of the interference as you can see all the harmonics shift in the spectrum view as you turn this potentiometer.
