I wore it for a week in various activities in 20-30 degrees Fahrenheit. It was warm enough for snowboarding, snowmobiling and whatever else was going on outside, but not too hot. Pros: The mouth and nose area was a good middle ground: It was relatively breathable, warm, and acceptable for COVID regulations. There are other balaclavas that are probably easier to breathe, but these are just open-weave mesh and offer no real protection from the cold or other issues. The contour around the eyes and nose made it really comfortable to wear. It stayed on my nose and didn't get in my eyes. I don't know why other masks aren't made like this. Other masks are just flat, straight lines, allowing you to choose between adequate nose coverage and a ramp up near the eyes or a tug under the nose. The hinged design easily pulls the mask under the chin and lifts it over the nose. It shaped the head well during an active day and was comfortable. Improvements: - I wish the bodice (cap) was a little bigger to fit more on my forehead. Not that big of a deal and probably depends on your proportions. A longer length would be nice too, but it's not such a big deal. All in all a great product at a good price.
