I have a dozen or more tripods, I've been looking for the perfect travel tripod for years and the search is finally over. That's it. I still use my Really Right Stuff tripod for heavier work, but this one is light, compact and strong. I like the tight grouping of the legs but the built in leveling base is the best. Combined with my Acratech panhead, this seems like a better setup than my Gitzo, leveling base and panhead because it's even lighter and more compact. The quality seems to be very high, the legs can be easily extended and folded with one hand. , and they extend to a decent height. The leveling base combined with the Acratech head allows me to film, pan and work with one head.
