I read a few reviews before purchasing which made me a little tired but I could tell what I would be getting based on my design experience. It is exactly what it is, a nice $100 rug. I have a feeling some of these reviewers were expecting a Mercedes for the price of a Kia. Yes it's not that fluffy and when you get it straight away it won't be entirely straight as it has been rolled up and the edges may be kinked. be flattened. If the carpet really needs it, you can steam it a little to smooth it out, but using something weighted will help. It also works well with mats, which will soften it and even help smooth it out. It's $100! For the price it's worth it. Don't expect more unless you're willing to shell out $500 or thousands for a better quality rug. I am happy with my purchase and I think you are too! I also saw a review with a ruined carpet but the picture is definitely on an outdoor patio and although overcast moisture does come into play and that only applies to indoor carpets. Got it on a better day so saved even more and bought it for $80. Do I expect an architectural summary to come to my house and show off this rug? Probably not, but with the right parts and steps to make it better, your guests won't know you got it for free! I recommend it!
