Review on 🚙 Rugged Ridge 11229.05 Non-Locking Gas Cap Door, Textured Black for 2007-2018 Jeep Wrangler JK/JKU by Ben Daugherty

The goods came very quickly, in 3 days. There were no instructions for the gas cap so I've included photos of how I assembled mine. I found a pdf of instructions online that said to drive the screws into the plastic by hand, but I found that a bit tricky for me given the hard plastic, the screwdriver could slip off too easily and possibly damage the job when painting (Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo at the job !). The screws that come with the gas cap are about 3/4" long. After marking the holes, I drilled a small hole for the screws. I used a drill to insert the screws and ended up hand tightening them to put on just 2 extra steps which may have saved me an oops!It took me 15 minutes to assemble.This is the second item I have bought from Rugged Ridge and they really know the Jeep product, I will be back Buy from them. The door itself was a little off center but you have to look really closely to see that. I have mild obsessive compulsive disorder with my jeep and it doesn't bother me. I like that there are magnets that the the Close the door.I also like the textured steel, it goes well with my side pins and the bar I'm planning to buy.Good industrial product.
