opened the box and immediately realized that I made the wrong choice. The first thing I noticed was that the red handle was cracked and cracked and broke into pieces with little effort. Second, for some reason, there were screws in the box that seemed to be coming off the base. The rest of the screws were there, why were they in the box? No idea. Still, I didn't have time to return it and wait for another one, so I put it back together and have been using it for a month now. After using it for a month yes it holds up great my biggest issue is that no matter how tight you fasten the pen blank in this thing it slides down with very little pressure making drilling a chore . It can be used with some modifications but I wouldn't recommend it.
