I bought it to stay warm in bitter cold and long enough cover all of me. I'm about 5'2" to 5'4" and its about to my ankles, which is ok as I'll primarily wear it to work and with boots I'll be perfectly warm. Parking and walking to the bldg from car and vise versa will be much better now. I can't wear bulky underneath arms would be a bit too tight and unable to move, I'm a bit more round (will lose a few pounds) have to hold coat around my middle for now. Buttons are a bit difficult/tight to fasten whether on me or hanging up on hanger. Hope they losen with use. Or maybe there are elastic extenders that would work also. If you have arthritis, this would be very difficult for you.I am pleased with the purchase. Looks very well made (high quality) for the low price paid. Stylish and warmth - perfect combination.
