For the price and basic functionality, this French Press is worth the money. It seems very durable and I've used it several times. It's not as good as burner presses, but you're not paying for that feature. I think French presses should replace coffee makers. They're a bit more complicated, of course, but a lot easier to clean and the coffee always comes out more flavorful when you use a French Press. This particular model is good for testing if you're interested.
