☕ ZYK French Press Coffee and Espresso Maker - 34 Ounce 1000 ml - Brews Perfect Coffee and Tea Review

I use it occasionally, not every day. This morning I wanted a good coffee, not the usual K-cup, and grind the beans, boil the water and then BAM, the glass shattered when I poured water in it. Not good for a busy morning.

I will never buy this product again. I've had it for a month and a half and this morning the glass cracked when I poured hot water in it. Unfortunately, the 30-day return policy does not allow me to return. If it's not strong enough to handle hot water, it shouldn't be sold.

I like the design of the grip but I absolutely hate the push mechanism. You can't take it apart for easy cleaning and it doesn't stick to coffee grounds so I inevitably get it in my coffee. There are better ones (usually in local shops) for the same price.

Nice little French Press. Arrived quickly. Works well. The only drawback is that the top is not attached to it. I make cold iced coffee out of it and have to wrap it in plastic wrap to keep it fresh. You have to hold on to the top so that everything doesn't run out too quickly. Otherwise it works as described.

Good price and I haven't had any major problems. I still use it for cold brewing, so I can't speak to a hot water outage. we will see soon. Two things I don't like: 1- there is a lot of sediment in the coffee so I use a paper filter 2- the lid doesn't seal so it slides up when I pour. Would I buy again? Probably not, but so far so good.

This is an incredibly cheap device, although at this price point I expected it. I'm just waiting for the glass to break because it's incredibly thin. You cannot disassemble filters to clean them or remove stuck debris. The piston doesn't even fit. If I could give less than one star I would. I should have sent it back immediately but I waited too long. I'll look for something else soon.

For the price and basic functionality, this French Press is worth the money. It seems very durable and I've used it several times. It's not as good as burner presses, but you're not paying for that feature. I think French presses should replace coffee makers. They're a bit more complicated, of course, but a lot easier to clean and the coffee always comes out more flavorful when you use a French Press. This particular model is good for testing if you're interested.

Please note that the glass is very thin and can break easily. After about two months of ownership and fairly infrequent use (15 clicks max) the glass insert broke (without being overly aggressively or mishandled). I only hand washed this item. That being said it certainly works great as a press - if you want a cheap glass press it should work just fine - just be extra careful with washing/treating so it will last longer than mine.
