I bought a quick release kit for my Garmin 305. This is a really great idea for those interested in using it for multisport. I really like the Velcro idea but I have small wrists so when closed the strap forms a flap at the end of the extra band. Nothing bad, but a bit annoying. I bought the quick release shoe in June 2010 and have used it for both running and cycling. I have used a quick release treadmill and it works really well. However on my bike it has crashed twice and once during a race. This happened both times when I hit a bump. When the roads aren't bumpy, I haven't had any problems. Nevertheless, a great design from Garmin, because the watch survived a bicycle fall! I wouldn't recommend them for cycling but they are great for easy on and off for a run.
