Review on DALSTRONG Slicing Carving Knife AUS 10V by Jessica Frederick

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Doesn't hold blade, micro blade

I bought this knife primarily for skinning fish and there are a few things this knife isn't good for: 1. The handle on this knife is too small so you It can't attach any real power to your Punch2. The knife has no edge. It also has a micro blade that makes sharpening difficult. You'll either have to grind that micro edge down or keep sharpening it until you hopefully do it well. The blade is sticky. I don't know what's wrong, because the blade is textured for exactly that reason, but it is. The knife is too light, there is no weight behind it at all. You will find it difficult to cut vegetables or cut thicker meat. The pen is so small that it doesn't seem to feel secure in your hand, especially when your hand is wet. The craftsmanship is outstanding. The knife is beautifully cut, the handle is also very stylish. I will switch to Yanagiba. I have her 6" deba and this thing is a beast.
