This is the coolest remote I've ever owned. Not only does it include a feature that lets the remote automatically search for codes for your devices, but it also includes programmable buttons. My biggest problem with universal remotes is that the enter button works properly for my TV and not this remote. Plug the remote into the original remote and you can program any of the 10 buttons to do what the original remote does. You can also program the remote to always use the volume and mute buttons for your sound system, no matter which device you switch to. I'm so upset that I've slept on this thing for the last 5 years. My roommate had one, but he never programmed it to run hardware other than his PS4, so I didn't think it was anything special. As several people have pointed out, I was even able to set it up to toggle connections on my HDMI hub with an IR sensor using the search function and programmable buttons. 4 remote controls incl. PS4 controller switched to 1!
