Pretty good but would like a better version

The controller works well but not as well as the PS3 Blu-ray remote. I've been waiting as long as I can for the Sony TV to show up, but I don't think it's coming any time soon, so I bought a PDP. The buttons are nice, but the button layout is weird. The remote control is quite long, which I don't like. I really like the Xbox Media Remote. As others have complained, the remote turns itself off after a while. It sucks because when you're done moving or want to take a break or something, you have…

Died a year later

Save your money - this thing is poorly designed, built and programmed. I've tried replacing the batteries, forgetting the bluetooth pairing and reinitializing but it refuses to send any input to PS4. It was adequate when it worked, but button presses were hit or miss (both IR-to-TV and BT-to-PS4). ) - Sometimes it sent the right input, sometimes it didn't send anything at all. Additionally, all of the codes in the user guide for my TV (branded set, mind you) were wrong so it took a lot of trial

Inferior to PS3 remote control

I received this hoping it would be the PS4 version to match the PS3 version. You have to press the PS button to reactivate it every time you want to use it as it expires after a short time (to save battery) which was NOT necessary for the PS3 version. So I don't know why this new version requires it. I'd rather just use more batteries (rechargeable ones can be used) and the PS3 doesn't drain the batteries that quickly anyway. It lacks the buttons that other Blu-ray remotes would have, and the…

Both versions are GARBAGE - please read the multi-annual reports.

Two remotes down, both versions of POMUS. Listen to the reviews that are actually published after a few months. These things are dying right and left. Others have reported the same issue and have been able to turn on the system and see if the remote is connected and the battery status. Stops talking after a few keystrokes. Resynchronizing with the system does nothing. The remote disables all Bluetooth functions for a few seconds after connecting, the PS4 still thinks the remote is connected…

Best Remote I've Ever Had

This is the coolest remote I've ever owned. Not only does it include a feature that lets the remote automatically search for codes for your devices, but it also includes programmable buttons. My biggest problem with universal remotes is that the enter button works properly for my TV and not this remote. Plug the remote into the original remote and you can program any of the 10 buttons to do what the original remote does. You can also program the remote to always use the volume and mute buttons…

It works as advertised.

I have a 2012 Samsung TV and a 2011 Sony Receiver. The remote control controls all TV functions and everything except the ability to open the menu on the receiver. The only reason I would open the menu these days is to adjust the subwoofer volume, but it's not really necessary because it's been at a balanced level for quite some time. Buttons on certain devices. That would be very useful for the volume buttons, for example. After I press "play" on the remote for Netflix in the PS4 function, I…

Not so dead! Fixed Bluetooth and Dead Remote issue.

Stops working after one month. Bluetooth just failed. The IR continues to work, but the remote control no longer connects to the PS4. The Share + PS4 button does nothing. Bad product. Look for something different. UPDATE: Changed to four stars. This can help others. I've seen a lot of people here with Bluetooth issues where one day the remote just stopped working and then they couldn't keep the device connected. Well I've read the solutions that were mentioned to try re-syncing the remote by…

PS4 Universal Remote: You can just buy it

I've been using the PlayStation 4 Universal Media Remote for almost a month now. I use it to watch TV and movies through my Sony PlayStation 4 500GB console and overall I'm happy with the quality and performance. The optics personally corresponds to the expectations that I have taken from the product images. Same quality as DualShock 4 Wireless Controller for PlayStation 4 - Jet Black (CUH-ZCT2). Pretty nice buttons. The product works as it should. It connects easily to PS4 and controls…

Decided to clear up a few misconceptions

Decided to dispel a few misconceptions that are floating here.1 . It's officially licensed by Sony, it's right on the box and has a real PS logo button, while being sold in the official PS blue box that the PS4 came in. You wouldn't be able to use it if it wasn't an official Sony product. . It's not made by Sony, but lacks many of their extras, it still meets their standards as an officially licensed product, and having a license ensures it's accepted by the Playstation and its ecosystem.2. The
