Review on 🔧 Dorman 901-072 4WD Switch: Perfect Replacement for Cadillac/Chevrolet/GMC Models by Flex Graham

I occasionally get the message "Service 4WD system" on my 2005 Z71. I read that this switch is often a problem, so I bought it. It is very easy to replace, no tools required. I started the truck to allow myself to lower the shifter to the minimum. Lower the steering wheel as far as possible. Grab the dashboard and gently pull it toward the back of the truck. It is held with several clips. Wrap it around the steering wheel and set it aside. The 4WD switch just pulls straight back. Change it to a new one and that's it. I am now writing 5 stars because it really works. I switched modes and everything was fine. I don't know if this solved my problem or not, but this switch does what it's supposed to do.
