Perfect function for connecting old flash drives, standalone USB 3.0 docks and keyboards to your USB computer. Work

Plastic case, but all functions are fine. I've used it to connect a USB hard drive, keyboard and mouse to my new Thunderbolt 3 laptop and it didn't miss a beat. It's probably not a good idea to pull 3 amps through three USB 30. Type A ports by connecting three 3.5" hard drives, but you should know that without me knowing.
