Great stand and good amount of material

It's hard to go wrong with this monitor when you know what you're buying. It's not 144Hz, G-Sync, etc. It's a business-class IPS panel with thin bezels, a great stand, and plenty of inputs. I can't say anything about the daisy chain function because I don't use it. However, I have noticed a large number of posts on the Dell forums about issues with this feature. This may be due to an earlier version of this monitor. The version is listed after the product serial number. I recommend getting the latest version if possible (A08 I think). I am pleased to report that I have received the latest version and manufacture date of March 2018 for what I purchased through Revain. And without a single dead pixel or significant IPS or backlight glow. I'm a big gamer, but I also try to prioritize my settings for performance, so I had a real struggle choosing a monitor. I've always used IPS, I only have 1060 and I really think there's a lot of room for growth in the IPS/144hz/g-sync market. Back then I was in no rush to play the panel lottery and I'm too hesitant to return to the TN panel. Also, my card can't squeeze more than 60-70 frames per second. Other than that, the games here look nice and bright. The black color could be better when playing in the dark, but it doesn't bother in any way. The brightness behavior of the monitor annoys me a little. Brightness affects colors more than on my old monitor where brightness would just make everything brighter. It's definitely a different backlight/brightness technology. If you set the brightness too far above 50 things will look a bit washed out like you're changing the contrast, but it's also very bright at 50 so don't worry. However, you cannot increase the brightness in dark games without causing color smearing. They're definitely meant for office use during the day, so keep that in mind if you're a gamer. Check out TFT Central's review on this monitor for technical details on response time, calibration, etc. I also like the soundbar option on the bottom of the monitor, the Dell AC511. I didn't have desktop speakers and needed some for general youtube tutorials etc so this is the perfect complement to this monitor.
