Updated 04/16/2016. I've had this monitor for a while. It's still a great monitor and I use it almost every day. Now I have it connected to two different sources. I would like to add if I could only deduct 1/4 star I would. These are the "buttons" on the front of the monitor to control the OSD, switch inputs, etc. Since I often use two sources these days, I need to switch inputs using the "buttons". They are very difficult to see and use in broad daylight. This means I'm often typing blindly, trying to find the right button to turn the monitor on/off and bring up the menu. When the menu is open, it's easier because the "buttons" are the same as the on-screen indicators. But that initial wake up/OSD initiation is a bit painful. I wish they had a physical button, or at least something like Braille to "feel" where the buttons are when it's dark. This reminds me of the Dilbert cartoon from [.] (I hope Revane will let me link that cartoon). in excellent condition - well packaged and safe. It comes with multiple connection cables including USB and miniDP cables. This is a great way to get started right away. I connect this monitor to my 2014 13" MacBook Pro using the Mini Display Port and the included cable. It connects instantly every time. I often unplug my laptop to use at home, then plug it back in when I'm at my desk. After a few seconds it reconnects and I have a nice big 24" screen. Physical features: This monitor doesn't swivel well. You can tilt, raise, lower it easily, but it requires it some effort to rotate it. That might be good for some, bad for others. Keep that in mind. It has handy cable routing through the stand and a little cover to keep things looking tidy. It's a little heavy and big, but it's a 24" monitor. It's great, both on and off. Ports, so I won't go into detail, but I want to say that the USB 3.0 ports are great, and I have the same I've seen performance with a USB 3.0 drive plugged directly into the laptop, as if through a monitor. Via USB - they are all behind. This is not practical for clogging up USB hard drives, etc. I haven't found the optimal setting yet, but I still use a USB3 hub. Screen! Maybe this is the best screen I've ever seen. Colors look great - although I can't verify their accuracy - it came with a factory certificate showing calibration. I have no reason to believe this is incorrect. It has no glass cover. making it very easy on the eyes. I used it for hours, nearly 12 hours a day during a marathon programming session, with no eye strain. It's also just the right amount of resolution. 4K might be ok, but my laptop's screen is almost too narrow at times. The backlight is very even for me and I don't see any glare. Off-center viewing is great, with little to no color change/distortion as you move away from view. it directly. Controls: Most of the controls are on-screen and fairly easy to use and navigate. I really don't use the controls very often. I used source selection and power. See update! In conclusion: I would buy this monitor again. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a great looking 24 inch calibrated monitor with multi-input support and USB 3.0.
