Windows Common Issues - Doesn't work after installing all software

I bought this to scan all my other books. I trimmed the bindings before trying this but it just doesn't work. My Windows 10 VM sees the new USB device but doesn't apply the two drivers I installed twice. I want it to be a good decision. I visited the IRIS website several times before purchasing the Iriscan Desk 5 Pro.

Pros

Automatic page break detection and auto scan: Intelligent software will automatically detect page breaks and can start scanning automatically to make scanning easier. The convenient push button can also be used to start scanning while keeping your hands free.
