Works exactly like the ones that come out of the box with your Vizio TV. Why only 3 stars? Because the damn back/battery cover just refuses to stay on the remote, just like every Vizio remote I know has. Stick it on and you'll be very annoyed when you have to change batteries. Use tape and the glue will start seeping out from under the tape and your hands and anything it touches will become sticky. But I don't know how to operate the damn Vizio without the remote control, so hey. As soon as you no longer have your Vizio TV, this remote control will replace the lost one. probably only half! I wonder if there are tons of Vizio Remote Backs in landfills everywhere, accidentally hidden and thrown away while cleaning up after a weekend snack?!
