I don't know if the person who didn't like the sound quality used it for music or something else. Plug your ears with headphones or buy ear cups! No hearing problems when calling, no matter microphone or earphone, very easy to use. I can easily pause my podcast, answer a call, or rewind an audiobook to the next track. Comfort is the best. When I was driving Uber and Lyft, my earbud started hurting after about three or four hours, partly because my glasses were sitting on the earbud. Doing this will waste your glasses, so those with large headphones on the glasses should be warned that this isn't designed for this. When I received it I thought it was soft rubber but it's hard plastic - but that doesn't matter because the thickness doesn't reach to the bottom of the gap between the ear and the head. I'm sure glad I lost the other one, otherwise I would have continued to suffer.
