Small but powerful for its size, when used in a 55 gallon aquarium the water flow is fast and the pressure is good. Dual use for me to pump air and oxygen into the tank and pump out water during water treatment comes with multiple hose adapters, the hose that came with it was bent and already out of the box but that didn't bother me that much hose isn't that big , difficult to bend and work with. The hum is rather low and to be expected from a device with a running electric motor, so not a problem here either. The only reason I didn't give it a 5 is that I wish it had a separate inlet and outlet for sand cleaning, like a siphon, but overall good, it's a good little pump that I would recommend to a friend .
