I put it in a hydroponic tower. Looked pretty decent at first. After a few days it got very noisy. I tried cleaning it to see why but found nothing. Now, a few days later, it has failed. When I open it I can get it to pump one cycle but it seems to stop and not restart again on the next cycle. Dissatisfied. I bought another branch and it turned out to be much better.

We bought this for our table fountain that we have on our porch. After about 15 years, our native pump failed. This one is probably intended for tank use. The main problem with this is that it has such power that we have to be careful. When we first connect it, it can emit a cloud a few meters from the well, often making the operator very wet. After a series of experiments, we managed to keep it under control. The pump says it's pumping at 60 gallons per hour, which is about 55 gallons per hour

Small but powerful for its size, when used in a 55 gallon aquarium the water flow is fast and the pressure is good. First let me point out some negative comments in other reviews: 1. The flow rate is adjustable - the water inlet on the pump side has a sliding cover which can be adjustable from fully open to fully closed and in any intermediate position.2. I hate writing negative reviews and if you read most of the others I've written I'll highlight the best parts, not the worst (although I'll add as needed).
