I ordered these primarily for stovetop use, thinking the handles and wide openings would come in handy when cooking. They're certainly good enough for that, but I was surprised at how adorable they are; They feel just as at home on the kitchen or dining table as they do on the back of my stove. Its capacity is about 4 ounces or half a glass (150 ml). They're roomy enough to use when cooking, even if you cook a lot, but they're not so big that they're clunky. I tend to keep the pepper pot half full so it doesn't spoil before I can use it. At less than $10, it's a steal, and its design suits all but the fanciest of settings.
