I made this specifically for working with tie rod ends. I had to use torches, angle cutters, and a vise to loosen or cut off the tie rod locknuts. Not to mention the numerous broken wrenches. I'm so glad I tried this. Once it snaps and bites, it never slips off again. Something else. No need to worry about rounding off the lock nut! The way it holds is specially designed to avoid rounded corners. As in the picture, there are only a few bite marks on the flat surfaces of the nut.
