Review on 🌬️ Nordic Pure 16x16x1 Pleated Air Filter - High Efficiency 16x16x1M12 (Pack of 6) by Wayne Moody

I am returning them. The box was labeled MERV12, which I ordered, but the filters inside were unlabeled. I looked at the filter cloth and it didn't look like MERV 12 filter media so I pulled out a Bigbox FPR4 filter (which is equivalent to MERV6 or MERV8). Of course, side by side, the FPR4 filter media looks identical to the Nordic MERV12 media. Same thickness, same light transmission, same fluffiness. The only difference is that the Nordic MERV 12 had a stronger cardboard frame on both sides, so it's better made that way, but the FPR4 has twelve for the same price. The product also arrived damaged with a hole in the box due to the lack of inner packaging, the first filter was damaged and due to the lack of plastic packaging all filters were exposed to the elements. At $34 for 6 it's not the best value given the comparable quality.
