Works great with 1st Gen iPod Classic!

I used this cable to connect a 1st gen iPod Classic to a 2015 Macbook Air with Thunderbolt 2 did not work. Charge only, don't sync my iPod. I connected this cable to an Apple Firewire 800 to Thunderbolt 2 adapter and it worked great. It's a thick cable and appears to be quite durable.
