I used this side-by-side in my GE fridge - saved at least $100 by making it myself!
This temperature sensor is perfect for my side-by-side fridge freezer (GE GSHS6LGBBHSS). Also replaces the sensor on top of the freeze coils. Replacing it in the fridge took no more than 15 minutes (including disassembly) and worked great. The leads on this gauge are quite long - I cut about 6 inches extra to make it work in most situations. covered with shrink tubing. Try it. You will not be disappointed.
