I almost lost my finger, it was so sharp. I have a Yoshihiro knife, it's really cool, but I had to sharpen it, and you can only use wet rocks. I had no idea what I was doing, but after watching a YouTube video I got it. This is very easy. I cut with a razor blade and it's amazing. I really thought I knew Sharp to this day. I have 1000 grit which most decent knives need, it works great but I would definitely consider getting 3000 and maybe 8000. Stones basically polish the metal after it's been polished, and that makes it even sharper because it's even smoother. Not that it's necessary, but after using 1000 I feel like if I'm going to be perfect at it I'll need another one or two. But you really don't lol but we all really should.
