If like me you have the first version of this remote, you know that when the remote falls off the couch, the battery cover and batteries are sent into low earth orbit. That's 99% the reason I bought this, it keeps the battery cover and batteries locked in place. This is great for the newer version too, just more aesthetically pleasing/safer than battery hold.
