This is quite a complete set to start polishing. It is important to become familiar with the different grits and pad densities. So if you're not used to polishing, get this kit, grab a piece of aluminum and/or steel and start practicing. You can do a lot of good with it, even if you already know what you are doing. Especially if you only have a few small tasks to do. But most of you will probably move on to selectively selecting specific, high-quality components once you know what you're doing.
