Review on The Door Balancer: Revolutionizing Door Support with No Props, Stops, or Wedges Needed by Andre Arias

My vacuum robot is no longer trapped!

I had a dilemma: my Roomba got stuck in the bathroom. If the door wasn't fully open to begin with, it would bang on the door, causing it to partially close, and the robot couldn't figure out how to swing far enough to bypass the door and exit. Now the door is fully open (even if the child leaving the room opened the door just enough to get out) and will remain open even if the vacuum cleaner bumps into it. No more traps and no more battery drain. Although my family is very knowledgeable about DIY, the installation was very quick and easy. As mentioned, the hardest part was getting it out of the box. Which really didn't matter much. I'll put them on three more doors. UPDATE: I installed two of these on a door that opens 180 degrees. I installed one of them rear facing to give it an extra boost. They don't keep the door fully open. But they *mostly* keep the door open. Ideal for doors with an opening angle of 90 degrees or slightly more.
