Small, powerful, multifunctional.

You won't find a better performing dual-band router in this price range, installation isn't the easiest, but as the complexity increases, more features come. The default quick settings screen will help you get started with ease. If you type Webfig, Winbox or CLI you will see how complex the device can be. The MikroTik app, which is the mobile version of Winbox, is excellent, it simplifies things like setting up port forwarding in a few areas. Replaced Linksys EA7500 with hAP ac2 and couldn't be happier, of course Linksys has slightly better WiFi but lacks everything else. I use it as an access point which works great with ac2 doing all the routing. I can't believe the hAP ac2 has a range, don't let this tiny device with no external antennas fool you. The range is comparable to the ea7500 and it has three large external antennas. You can fit almost four hAP ac2 devices into a Linksys, that's a lot less. The reason this isn't 5 stars is due to the lack of available 5GHz channels. If you take the international version, this device gets 5 stars because it has access to all channels.
