I hate writing a negative review for a product that has so many positive reviews; However, my experience was not positive. After installing the batteries, the timer indicator did not light up. I checked the batteries to make sure they are seated properly and warm. I removed those batteries (which came with the timer) and added three of my own. As soon as they were installed, the timer started smoking and smelling like burnt plastic. I removed them immediately and printed out a return label to send back to Revain.
