This product was a major letdown. While it's marketed as a classroom gadget, I purchased it for my home and kitchen, hoping to adjust the brightness effortlessly. Through trial and error, I found that the magnet wouldn't attach to certain surfaces, and the brightness adjustments were finicky at best. The only pro is that the size of the product is compact, making it easy to store. But, overall, I wouldn't recommend it due to its frustrating functionality.

I originally bought this for a handy kitchen timer for baking that would allow me to leave the kitchen and take it with me on my multitasking chores. However, after needing to brighten up the presentation for work, I loved this for the same purpose in the kitchen. It has a clear digital display and is large enough to be seen easily. I hate writing a negative review for a product that has so many positive reviews; However, my experience was not positive. After installing the batteries, the timer indicator did not light up. I checked the batteries to make sure they are seated properly and warm. I removed those batteries (which came with the timer) and added three of my own. As soon as they were installed, the timer started smoking and smelling like burnt plastic. I removed them immediately and printed out a return label to…
